The student financial aid team is dedicated to providing opportunities to help students pay for their Allen College education. There are many resources available through a combination of scholarships, grants, loans or payment plans.

In order to be considered for both state and federal aid programs,

students need to apply for financial assistance by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the posted deadline.

Veterans Benefits

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs offers financial assistance to students who qualify. VA benefits are authorized to veterans and qualified dependents under specific chapters of Title 38, U.S. Code. Each chapter has specific eligibility requirements.

Privacy Protection

In response to the Federal Trade Commission’s ruling, steps have been taken to ensure the protection of individual’s private information as related to employment and education. Allen College is required by federal regulations to collect and use social security numbers as identifiers. The use of social security numbers as identifiers is limited to those situations and to those agencies requiring this information in relation to the awarding of student financial aid, loans and/or licensure.

Training

The Allen College financial aid team receives annual external training to ensure expertise in all state and national regulations related to providing financial aid counseling and disbursements to our students.
